Planck Privacy Policy

Effective October 21, 2026

Planck is developed and provided by Shibo Shen, an independent developer. We keep as little of your information as we can.

1. We don't collect your data

Actions, tags, your nickname and completion history stay on your device. The app has no server of its own, no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking, and does not use the advertising identifier.

2. iCloud Backup

You can turn on iCloud Backup in Settings. It writes to the private iCloud database of your own Apple Account, which only you can access; the developer cannot see it. You can turn it off or delete it in iCloud settings at any time.

3. Widgets

The app shares a summary (such as counts and priority titles) with its own widget through an on-device App Group. It does not leave your device.

4. Purchases

The Lifetime tier is bought through the App Store. Payment is handled by Apple; the developer receives no payment details, only whether the purchase is active.

5. What we receive

Only email and feedback you choose to send, used to reply to you and improve Planck. Depending on your device settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports with the developer; TestFlight testing information is shared as described in Apple's TestFlight privacy notice.

6. Deleting your data

Deleting the app deletes everything on the device; iCloud Backup can be deleted in system settings. To have email or feedback you sent deleted, write to us.

7. Children

Planck is not directed at children and collects no information about them.

8. Changes

If we ever begin collecting data, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label first.
